Delacroix. leader of the Romanticsim art movement in France, had apparently planned to shoot a movie based on one of his famous paintings "The Death of Sardanaplus". However he diverted from the source material and wanted to do a porn film with Orientalist trappings. No actual footage of the film has ever been found.
